Coastwatch Tay is a voluntary monitoring service which does not receive any financial help from local authorities, government or the emergency services, we are totally dependant upon generous donations from the public and sponsorship from the business community.

It is our aim to eventually have the necessary equipment and trained volunteer personnel in order to achieve the MCA Declared Facility Status (DFS) and become a listed asset within the UK SAR organisation.

In order for us to operate an efficient lookout and meet the DFS standard we will require the following items of equipment:-
